Domaine La Patelle 2023 Devers

Devers is 100% Pinot Noir grown in red marl soils on the steep slopes in Les Bodines. It undergoes maceration for three weeks in stainless steel and spends a year in steel tanks. It's a beautiful expression with lifted cherry and blueberry fruit, elegant and fine tannins with juicy acidity. A bit of earth on the nose, this is a delicious Jura Pinot that hits all the right notes. The 2023 is still classified as Vin de France but will be Arbois in the future. There's just enough structure to make this an interesting candidate for short to medium term aging.
