Couvent 2021 Vosne-Romanee Les Barreaux (Pre-Arrival Fall 2026)

Couvent's holding in Les Barreaux consists of a group of parcels covering 0.71 hectares with an average vine age of 50 years. The site sits at the top of the village overlooking Richebourg and is flanked by the Premier Crus Cros Parantoux, Petits Monts and Brulées. Harvested by hand and fully destemmed before a short cold maceration. Fermented with native yeast in cement tanks. Aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, with approx. 15-20% new oak. Notes of five spice, red florals, and pomegranate, alongside amazing acidity. Balance with great aging potential- but also drinking well now!
