100% Chardonnay from the 2021 harvest. The vines are over 45 years old in the single plot of Derriere l'Abbaye. Vinified in oak barrels for 11 months before spending 3 years sur lattes. Disgorged with 2g/L dosage. Only 1,130 bottle produced.
The wine has a beautiful toasted brioche quality that might make you expect a richness, but the wine is perfectly fresh and has a lovely balance. Theres a great energy to this Champagne.
