The son of Marc Colin and brother to Pierre-Yves, Joseph took over his father's domaine in 2003 (after working alongside his father for a decade) and then in 2017 peeled off about 6 hectares to start his own label. Having worked the vines for a majority of his life, he knows them like the back of his hand. He meticulously cares for each parcel and practices a hands-off approach in the cellar.
From 70+ year old vines in St. Aubin in one of the coldest sections of the village. Fermented with indigenous yeast and then aged in older 228L barrels on their fine lees. The nose has bright notes of lemon zest, and lime with a hint of florals. The palette opens up to be crisp, fresh, with a salty note and lots of energy!
