The 2022 Charvin Cotes du Rhone "Damon" - The parcel is adjacent to the estate and was planted by Laurent's great grandpa Elie 80 years ago and Laurent was just able to purchase it back. It's 90% Grenache and 10% other varieties (mostly Syrah). It's a warm terroir of clay and galets so it shows a rather full palate, but is nicely balanced and tastes like a young Chateauneuf-du-Pape!
