Importer note from Palinkerie Imports: Köves is an Egri Csillag ("the star of Eger"), the emblematic white blend of Eger. This comes from a single vineyard with limestone soils on the Nagy-Eged. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in mostly stainless steel (90%) and some Hungarian oak (10%). Zesty and chalky, with apricot, red apples, orange blossom and salt. 50% Hárslevelű, 30% Riesling, 20% Furmint.
