Importer note from Palinkerie Imports: Bukolyi Marcell has operated his small independent estate in Eger since 2016. A modern version of the historical blend, Kisfiam ("my boy") is loaded with fresh fruits, lively acidity and well-balanced tannins. Cherry cobbler, herbs and spices on the nose. Ripe cherries, raspberries and zippy grapefruit on the palate, with an earthy long finish. The wine is juicy, structured and fiery. Fermented spontaneously with native yeasts, and aged for 6 months in 500 L barrels. Kékfrankos 50%, Syrah 35%, Pinot Noir 10%, Cabernet Franc 5%.
