100% Chardonnay from various sites in the Kamptal on chalky soils. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with malolactic occuring as well. The wine then is racked along with the fine lees into Austrian oak barrels for a year. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle and aged sur lattes for 7 years. This is a deep, powerful, leesy, brioche sparkling wine with incredible depth and texture.
