Bruna 2025 Rosato Colline Savonesi Burdigai

Burdigai- the local name for the Mediterranean shrub surrounding this west facing plot, the Italian version of garrigue. Even more interesting about this vineyard is that Francesca and Roberto do not know who planted it or in what year or even what the grape is! They say the former contadino owner called the grape "uva franceisa". Nevertheless they tend to it, because the philosophy of caring for old vines extends to this plot from which they make a very limited and very delicious rosato. Only a few hundred bottles are made each year.
