Brovia 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo

You might notice this bottling used to be labeled as 'Nebbiolo d'Alba' but starting in 2022 it is now 'Langhe Nebbiolo'. Alex and Elena were previously purchasing fruit, but now its all farmed by them! This new plot is larger and higher elevation with 50 year old vines north of Alba. The site is called Valmaggiore and it sits in the village of Vezza d’Alba. Licorice, dark cherry, and green olive, with gentle tannins giving us a peak into the grace of their Barolo at a fraction of the price. -ML
