Named "Anterse" a term used in weaving - Brovia's metodo classico weaves together 3 local varieties: Barbera (60%) sourced from a high altitude site whose naturally lofty acidity allow Alex and Elena to harvest at full phenolic maturity and still retain the brightness a great sparkling wine demands, along with Nebbiolo (30%) and Freisa (10%), imparting the character of the region. Freisa was traditionally a lighty, spritzy wine and the Anterse is a symbol of Alex and Elena's devotion to authentic viticulture. 50 months on the lees with 2g/l dosage the Anterse is taut, rich and stylish.
