Planted in 1939, 1950, 1979, and 2019 below the premier cru les lavieres on red clay and gravel soils with limestone. The wine is made 100% whole cluster with a 4-5 day cool maceration. Fermented with ambient yeast with pump-overs and foot punch-downs. Following fermentation, it is aged for 12-18 months in up to 20% new oak barrels.
