The 2023 Le Rouge is a blend of Cabernet Franc from the Finger Lakes (Wiemer) with some Merlot from Long Island (Macari). It is made with whole clusters to give it a vibrant and juicy profile with some added spice. It's a medium/light bodied wine with great fruit, a touch of earth and balanced acidity that is reminiscient of the bistro style wines of the Loire Valley. Best enjoyed with a slight chill, this has been a favorite since release and we were lucky to snag one of the last cases in the city!
