A Tribute to Grace 2022 Grenache Dorigo Family Vineyard

Angela took over the Dorigo Family Vineyard in Ballard Canyon in 2022 after sourcing grapes from the site for years. The soils are sand over limestone, on a south facing slope. The sandy soils give this wine a depth and openness that distinguishes it from others in the lineup. It is deeper in color and packed with powerful plum and blackberry fruit, with subtle notes of lavender and black pepper that add energy and lift. This is a lush and exuberant wine with great density, drinking beautifully now but with enough stuffing to go another ten years or more. For a contrast to the ethereal and lighter Shake Ridge bottling, this is a must try and is equally as compelling.
