Pierre Goiset's 2025 "Le Query" is from 65 to 105 year-old vines planted on granite soils in the parcel of the same name in Maisdon-sur-Sevre. Superb elegance and freshness from the old vines on granite, with outstanding texture and perfect balance that really shines alongside any fresh seafood. There's real precision here, with bright acidity that doesn't get in the way of the more delicate aromatics with subtle hints of aniseed and a lovely mineral finish that lingers well after the last sip.
