Vini Rabasco 2024 La Salita Trebbiano d'Abruzzo (Arrives 9/23)

Iole Rabasco, owner & winemaker of Vini Rabasco is one of the most talented farmers in Pianella, Abruzzo, where she farms 11 hectares of grapevines and olive trees. Her 50 year old vines have never seen any chemicals and have been tended with biodynamic practices for the last 20 years with the sentiment of leaving the land better than she found it. On offer today is a personal favorite from her lineup, 2024 La Salita Trebbiano d'Abruzzo. The secret sauce to this spritzy and energetic Trebbiano is 10% Malvasia planted in the vineyard. This brings top notes of pear and chamomile to Trebbiano's base notes of almond and apple. I can't think of a better wine to transition into Fall!
