The 2022 "Tradition" is 80-85% Grenache, 10-13% Syrah, 7-10% Mourvèdre, 0-5% Cinsault from 70% sandy soils on Teyssonnières, Font de Papier, Gour de Chaulé, 30% lime, red clay-limestone soils around Santa Duc, Trignon, Les Blaches, 24 plots across 10 hectares. Fuller-bodied, a bit more old-school than the "Le Gour" and "Numero Huit" this is still a very lovely Gigondas, showing beautiful ripeness and elegance. "...a total delight" says Vinous!
