Margot et Natalia 2022 Vin de France Salve

From vines ranging from 15-65 years-old, this is an exquisite Chenin Blanc from vines in Anjou. We love the density and mineral length of this wine, which seems like it will only improve with further months and years of aging. There are notes of stone fruit, and very subtle hint of ginger, with an impressive mid-palate and delicate, textured finish. Though listing who Margot and Natalia have worked with in the area is not necessary, it's notable that they have apprenticed with Philippe Delmée, Benoit Courault, and Thomas Batardiere among others, as the quality and precision of this wine reminds us very much of Chenins that we love from these producers. Drink now or age for 2-5 years.
