Sirugue-Noellat 2023 Vosne-Romanee Vieille Vignes (Arrives 8/19)

A blend from the lieu-dits Les Violettes, Portefeuilles, Murailles du Clos, Maizieres Hautes & Basses, Les Jacquines. These sites border the Clos des Vougeot providing an amazing cross section of this corner of Vosne-Romanee. The Vines are around 70 years old giving amazing concentration. Made with 50% Whole cluster and aged for 14-16 months in 40% new french oak. Theres a bump up in concentration here from the Harmonie with eath and spice coming before fruit. The wine has excellent balance of elegance with power still that will drink well now and age for years to come!
