Barraco 2024 Terre Siciliane Bianco G Grillo

Nino Barraco's 'Bianco G' is made from his oldest vines planted in 1975 to iron rich red clay soils over limestone. This site is about an hour from his cellar in Castelvetrano, home of the most delicious olives, and wine too in this case! The Grillo is aged in a mix of concrete and chestnut cask. This is a wine which proves the seriousness and potential of Grillo! Great texture, length, and acidity with notes of stonefruit, florals, smoke, sea salt, and woodsy herbs.
