Curtaz, Federico 2022 Gamma Etna Bianco (Arrives 7/21)

Federico Curtaz had a vast wine background before starting his own namesake project in Sicily in 2015. He collaborated with Angelo Gaja in the 80's as an agronomist and then migrated to Sicily after falling in love with its culture and wines. This white wine is 100% Carricante from the villages of Milo on the eastern slope of Etna with rocky / sandy volcanic soil. The aging in stainless steel gives us a pure terroir and fruit expression with verticle acidity and layers of herbs, green apple, and the classic kiss of nuttiness from Carricante.
