Ceritas 2024 Pinot Noir Hellenthal Vyd - Old Shop Block (Arrives 11/10)

These are own-rooted vines planted in the late 1970s from the “Old Shop Block” of Hellenthal Vineyard in West Sonoma Coast AVA. Grapes are organically farmed, hand-harvested and fermented with 60% whole clusters. It ages in about 25% new oak, 16 months on lees, and undergoes full malo. Classic ruby in the glass, the vibrancy of the color speaks directly to the brightness found on the palate. The juicy palate focuses primarily on cranberries, fresh strawberry, and herbal tea. A subtle but beguiling nose follows along with the palate, where the stem influence can be felt in the form of black peppercorn and herbs.
