The Mt. Pajaro Pinot Noir is a mix of Massale and Swan Clones from Mt. Pajaro Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Vines were planted in 2011 on brown and black shale soils, part of the estate vineyard network of Rhys. It was fermented with native yeast with a gentle extraction in the cellar, fermented in steel tank before aging eleven months in approximately 20% new french oak.
