Nicoletta Bocca, grower, winemaker and owner of San Fereolo makes a Langhe Rosso which is comprised of 95% Barbera and 5% Nebbiolo. Anyone who knows me knows I love Barbera, but I will try to be impartial here. Bursting with pomegranate, dried blueberry, leather, tar, earth and a bright acidity keeping things fresh and youthful.
3 years of aging in large neutral oak and then another 6 years of bottle aging!
