This 2010 Boca was immediately jumping out of the glass! Dark, plump cherry with a spicy incense note, dried orange and pink peppercorn. The blend here is 85% Spanna (Nebbiolo) and 15% Vespolina, fermented separately in concrete and then blended together before aging in large cask for 18 months. The long bottle aging has rounded off this wine, making it an absolute pleasure to drink now.
