Nikolaihof 2008 Wachau Riesling Vinothek (Arrives 6/23)

From the vineyard of Im Weingebirge this wine is aged for 15 years in 3,500L oak Austrian casks. Bottled in 2024 this wine is so incredibly balanced. It has aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom along with some citrus zest. For a wine with this much age, it still presents youthful and dresh with a softness you don't always get to see from Riesling. Excellent concentration combined with a long finish, this wine is fantastic now and will continue to drink well for years to come.
