Messager-Germain 2023 Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge

Sourced from 40-year-old vines in the ‘En Malpertuis’ plot in Couchy just north of Fixin. The soils here are clay and limestone with silt. This is made with 100% destemmed fruit. After fermentation the wine is aged for 12 months in barrel. This a an incredibly fun, fruit and floral driven red burgundy. The palate has a great balance of freshness with excellent structure. Perfect for drinking now.
