Carême 2023 Vouvray Sec

We have always been fans of Vincent Careme, who is one of the nicest vignerons we know - and he makes terrific wines as well! His 2023 Sec is a lovely and vibrant very dry Vouvray that is simply delicious for current drinking as an aperitif, with anything from the sea, white meats and mild cheeses. Grown on limestone clay soils with silex, in organic farming, the 2023 Sec has the perfect ripeness of this excellent vintage in the Loire. "Notes of white peach, fresh citrus fruit and mint. The palate displays a nice tension, with sweet fruit and texture, and fresh acidity, lightly bitter in the finish, this is classic Vouvray." Enjoy this lovely wine now and over the next 5 to 8 years.
