Clos U Suale 2024 VDF Blanc Inseme

Inseme, which translates to "together", is a blend of 30% Vermentinu, 30% Muscat Petits Grains, and 40% Ugni Blanc, all grown on limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested and macerated together in stainless steel for about ten days, before aging six months in steel. It drinks somewhere in-between a typical white and full on orange wine, with delicate floral aromatics and lovely texture. There's just a kiss of tannin on the finish backed by perfectly balanced acidity. Enjoy cool but not too cold, this opens up nicely over the course of several hours and could have some interesting aging potential.
