Delmee, Philippe 2024 Ch'nins on Boit VDF Chenin

Vinified in small barrels, and then aged in a large old barrel, this is a broad and subtle revealilng expression of Chenin. Very Anjou, with ripeness, mineral-driven sharpness and structure from the schist soils. . On the palate, it has nice medium weight and density. We recommend letting this Chenin breath for a while. On day two it's fantastic, and it should age very well for 3-5 years in bottle. We recently tried the 2020 with Philippe and it was fantastic, so we'd recommend getting a few extra bottles to age! 2024 was a very good year for Chenin sur Schiste!
