50 year old vines with eastern exposure on clay-limestone soils. Made with 70% whole cluster fermentation before being aged 13 months in 30% new barrels and 70% used barrels (1-5 years). Lastly the wines sit in tank for 3 months prior to bottling with no fining or filtration.
The fruit profile is much more tart, with pomegranate and tart cherry with a more savory finish that is spiced with slightly less structure than the 2022. A more fine textured wine.
