Venus is a new Chenin from Robin, coming from his Bonnezeaux vines and aged in older barrels to give a bit more weight and texture compared to Les Salines. There is wonderful balance and tension, with beautifully ripe pear and apple fruit contrasting with brisk acidity and a dense mineral core. While it's delicious now, this has the structure to age another 5-10 years.
