Exeterra 2023 Alsace Sylvaner

This is a bright and fresh Sylvaner which is grown in sandstone and clay soils. Grapes undergo a long 11 hour press before aging on lees in stainless steel. There is no filtration and just 1g of added sulfer after fermentation. The aromatics are more on the mineral and herbaceous side with subtle fruit and lovely texture. On the palate it is open and pure with great acidity and a crisp, dry finish. It's a great summer white to enjoy on a hot day, with or without food!
