Didon 2023 Bourgogne Blanc Les Vignes Blanches Cuvee Longue

Located in Chassey-le-Camp this vineyard sits at 350 meters and faces due east. A blend of Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. The Pinot Blanc vines are 80 years old, while the Chardonnay are young vines. All on clay-limestone soils with marly subsoil. Slow direct press with indigenous yeast fermentation in barrel. Aged for 12 months in used barrels and an additional 12 months in tank before bottling. An incredibly textural wine with an elegant and smooth palette. Notes of lemon zest move towards a floral perfume making a really pretty aroma.
