From the importer: This is the village level wine from Moraza. 100% Tempranillo from numerous plots ranging from 450 to 650m elevation from a mix of limestone and clay soils. Fermented and aged in concrete.
Since first tasting it, this has become my go-to unoaked Rioja. The wine is juicy and fresh, but not without a supple mouthfeel and shades of that signature Rioja smokiness.
