Domaine Tardieux 2023 Touraine Sauvignon Blanc Les Sageres

Simon Tardieux is originally from the Loire et Cher, and went to learn winemaking from in other parts of the Loire and the world, before returning back to his home. After working with an old winemaker of the last name Courtault (wines were called Courtault-Tardieux), Simon set out on his own with vines close to Clos Roche Blanche, an estate he knew well as a child. He now lives in the old house at Clos Roche and makes wines with a nod to the bottlings from Catherine and Didier, though the grapes are not from the Clos.
