Marcorino is the most recent plot acquired by the current generation, Riccardo and Davide, in 2018. They are leasing a hectar, which is split between Nebbiolo planted in 1944 and Arneis planted in 1977. Marcorino distinguishes itself from Tre Stelle and Rio Sordo for its sandier soils contributing a friendly aromatic expression.
Marcorino is aged in traditional Slavonian oak casks for 22 months and matured in the bottle for 6 months before release. No filtration or clarification and a single bottling.
