Bellegrave 2019 Pomerol (Arrives 10/21)

This is 75% Merlot & 25% Cabernet Franc from the western edge of the Pomerol plateau outside of Libourne, all estate fruit. The 2019 is young but vibrant with dark fruit and some dusty pencil shavings on the nose, layered with cassis and hints of exotic spices that intermingle nicely in the glass. It's just beginning to come into its drinking window, with fine tannins and succulent acidity that lingers. A beautiful wine now with a decant, this will continue to evolve over the next 10-20 years.
