Cady 2022 Anjou-Villages

The Domaine Cady 2022 Anjou-Villages is 100% Cabernet Franc from 35+ year-old vines grown on schist terroirs in Saint-Aubin de Luigne, harvested in October, de-stemmed, aged half in cuve, half in old barrrels. Deep red in the glass, this is a classic, medium-bodied Cabernet Franc with aromas of raspberry, plum, and earth. The palate follows with similar notes of red fruit, good structure, and a balanced acidity. Very appealing now, this will also reward short-term cellaring.
