Abracadabra 2023 Kapri C!
A blend of Viognier grown by Mattia Carfanga, Pouzolles, l’Hérault, and Cinsault grown by Gérald Oustric (Le Mazel), from Valvigneres, Ardèche.
Notes from winemaker Hannah Fuellenkemper: Viognier 1/3 de-stemmed, rest whole bunch. Maceration 7 days. Assembled with 200 litres of Cinsault from Gerald (10 day maceration whole bunch). Colour: not so much white as ballerina slipper. Rooibus tea as white wine. Salty tannins, a blush of tropicality, stoney minerality. Etc!
I suggest you carafe it.

Viognier: 25 ish year old vines, pozzolan (see: Pouzolles!), marne, quartz, argile
Cinsault: 8 year old vines (2016), argile-calcaire. Ecocert certified
