Importer note from Palinkerie Imports: The Tufa is a spicy red field blend from the basalt soils of the Tihany peninsula on Lake Balaton in western Hungary. Spontaneous fermentation without temperature control in wooden vats, and then aging on the fine lees for 12 months in stainless steel and 225L oak barrels.
