Another textbook example of Brunello, but this time from the exceptional 2019 vintage. The first notes are spice and earth, then truffles, thyme, and black pepper come in. With enough cherry and blackberry notes to keep the wine balanced, fruit does take a backseat here. This bottle blew me away and I made sure to keep some in my glass for a few hours to see how it evolved. At $99.99, this is a great value, you can drink some now and age some for 25+ years.
