Careme 2022 Vouvray Sec

We have always been fans of Vincent Careme, who is one of the nicest vignerons we know - and he makes terrific wines as well! His 2022 Sec is a lovely and vibrant very dry Vouvray that is simply delicious for current drinking as an aperitif, with anything from the sea, white meats and mild cheeses. Grown on limestone clay soils with silex, in organic farming, the 2022 Sec has the lush ripeness of this excellent vintage in the Loire. Lovely aromas of pear, peach, citrus, herbs and stone lead to an elegant, vibrant palate with the ripe white and yellow fruits balanced by a wonderful chalky minerality and firm acidity.
