This is a bright and vibrant orange wine, not just in color but in its punchy fruit and bouquet of aromatics that seem to jump from the glass. 100% Gewurztraminer macerated about 14 days and aged 10 months in large Alsatian barrels, it's a perfect balance of energy and texture, easy to drink but fascinating to sit with. It's not overly floral, with subtle white flowers and peach that intermingle seamlessly. A kiss of tannin on the back end brings everything together and makes it an intriguing pairing option, but equally enjoyable on its own.
