For many years the team at Chambers Street Wines has been offering the beautiful Saint-Romains from Domaine Henri & Gills Buisson, and for a few years now we have also highlighted their Bourgogne Blanc and Rouge whenever we can get our hands on them! I am excited to showcase the 2024 vintage of these amazing wines. 

Between the excellent farming, thoughtful winemaking, and insanely low price we are stocking up on these wines so that you can too! The 2024 Bourgogne Blanc is an approximately 50/50 blend of young-vine Saint Romain and purchased fruit from their friends at Domaine Guillot-Broux in the Maconnais (practicing organic since 1954). The wine is aged for 1 year in neutral 228-liter barrels without racking.The result is a White Burgundy that is concentrated, and mineral dense with great acid and lovely texture. It has a fairly long, salty finish, and drinks well above its price point. The 2024 Bourgogne Rouge is sourced from vines planted just above Saint-Romain's Sous Roche. Just like the Bourgogne Blanc, it is aged for 1 year in used 228-liter barrels. This wine is so energetic and joyous with bright notes of cherry and red florals giving way for a mineral backbone. Both of these wines are simply delicious and are perfect to drink all summer long! Get ready to have these as your new everyday wine

Time and time again the wines from Buisson over-deliver on every level. For me, getting to offer Burgundy this good at such low prices is a gift. From a region that can oftentimes have a barrier to entry, this breaks down all presumption and gives everyone a chance to drink Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from some of the best vineyards in the world.
