Vollenweider 2023 Riesling Wolfer Goldgrube Kabinett

Wolfer Goldgrube is a steep site with a large percentage of un-grafted vines, with south-west exposition, on grey slate with thin sections of red slate. Most of the Vollenweider wines are from this total 7-hectare Grand Cru vineyard. The Wolfer Goldgrube Kabinetts is one of our favorite wines from Vollenweider, with delicate and balanced levels of residual sugar and intense mineral length. 

From Mosel Fine Wines: "The wine proves both light and intense on the focused and layered palate. There is a hint of cream and riper yellow fruits coming through, yet the finish is pure and vibrating. This is a great Kabinett in the making."
