From another vineyard in Macon-Cruzille, Julien Guillot of the Clos des Vignes du Maynes makes this lovely Chardonnay in a somewhat more forward style than the Aragonite, but still featuring beautiful freshness and minerality. Lovely aromas of stone fruits, minerals and fresh herbs with citrus, quince and stone fruits on the palate with firm acidity and citrus in the long finish. Delicious now and over the next five plus years.
