No herbicides or pesticides are used in the vineyards, harvest is done completely by hand. Fermentation is in open top vessels and the wine is then transered into barrel. Very little new oak is used alongside barrels that are up to 5 years old.
There is a beautiful nose of cranberry and tart cherry balanced with earthy tones. It opens up to be incredibly elegant with a frehness to carry and pair along with a wide array of foods. A value spot for Spatburgunder if I've ever seen!
