This is an incredible Chardonnay from Guman Vineyard in Napa, planted in 1982. The grapes were foot-stomped and left in barrel nearly three years under flor, giving it a rich and unctuous side while preserving natural acidity. There's a deep minerality that makes this truly compelling and unlike any California Chardonnay we've tried. If you like whites from Jura this is more in that style, ethereal and precise with great intensity.
