A more salty, savory style Barbaresco with notes of red apple skins and rose petals. 2016 is one of the finest vintages in the past 10 years and the Punset is no exception, showing such finesse, elegance, and lift. It is drinking well now, and can continue to age. The Basarin vineyard is in the town of Neive and is South facing, known for balance instead of power.
Punset is certified organic and practicing biodynamic or as fourth generation winemaker Maria Macarino calls it, "the agriculture of doing nothing".
